Fully Autonomous

The autonomous tractor was envisioned to provide an electric version of the existing Shujaa Tractor. Full Autonomy and self-tilling capabilities were also to be added as features.
Full Autonomy - The ability to navigate to the farm and accross the farm without human intervention.
Self-tilling capabilities - The ability of to raise or lower the farming implement without human intervention or based on previously provided instructions.
A user interface to monitor the system was also to be designed.
The provided solution had to have a price relatively similar to existing solutions.

Implementation

An autonomous robot was created to serve as a proof of concept of the solution desired.
It incorporated obstacle detection and avoidance using ultrasonic sensors and cameras.
Several computer vision and machine learning models were run on an onboard processor to aid in object detection.
While the project is still ongoing, current progress provides a good gauge onto the future implementation of the project.
